What great graphics. My computer did indeed have some slowness with playback on the intensive scenes. I would recommend that you incorporate a quality button of some sort, since simply lowering the quality to medium seems to fix most chugging problems for me. As for the animations, this is superb. Great mix of style, animation, colors, and story. The only complaint I have about all of this is that sometimes there is too much going on the screen at once. The characters are rather complex in their designs, which is an okay thing when there is not a lot on screen, but in the intense graphics and fight scenes, it gets difficult on following whats going on for the most part. I am not familiar with the story/folksong, so this was an interesting story, and very executed. I understood it completely, but I feel some scenes was a bad choice in camera angle.
Anyway, great job! This graphical animation is fun to watch, and the music makes it exciting and fast-paced.

Wow. I came back to this video after watching it for the first time. It made me feel so sick at first, I couldn't eat for a while. Definitly gave me shivers and probably nightmare material for the future. I've got to say, I hate this. I hate this so much, and to evoke emotion like that is amazing. Although it in a negative sense, the ablitiy to produce these emotions as an artist is surpurb trait. So yeah, I dislike this, but can see the beauty in hate and the disturbed nature of the video. Good Halloween material too.

Wow, what a lovely song... definitely puts me in a trance. Instead of space, I thought of just general wonder of something complex. I could ramble on and on about what this makes me think, but the ingenious is behind the musician. Great work, I can see this applied to many other uses than just space or robots, and that's a good thing. Keep up the great work!

Draewa responds:

Thanks! Considering that this track basically was the first piece of music I ever produced, and that I didn't know what I was doing one bit at the time, it's a huge success that people like this song. :)

I very much enjoy this. You captured the desert feeling completely, even though cliche, its a nice cliche. The highs and lows that fluctuate definitely blend a lot better than I would have originally imagined, so good job!

Thanks a lot!

Wow! I've never heard of 'duelling banjos' before, and I must say, what a brilliant discovery. I enjoy those deep, low tones that throw in this swampy, murky feeling, however the constant twang of that banjo sound and the quick feeling certainly feels like a fast, dangerous swamp race. Great job, and I enjoy the intro to the song a lot. About the sound quality, it sounds really great and sharp on my end. (But I'm listening to this on some shotty laptop speakers, so I barely hear the bass! Heh) Overall, I'm glad that you put all you did into this song, no matter how long it took you, because it really paid off.

DuttonsaysHi responds:

wow thank you man :3 I'm glad you liked it so much! everything you said was exactly the drive I was going for so thanks for the reassurance!

Also as long as there's no crackling, cluttered noises, distortion or any other horrible noises coming from your speakers when this song plays then that's awesome! means I've successfully got my production value that tiny bit further :3

Just a lurker who occasionally animates.
